Logan Cryer is an artist, writer and administrator with a penchant for local art histories. They are an alum of Moore College of Art & Design, where they acquired a BFA in Fine Arts and minored in Curatorial Studies. Logan attended Headlong Performance Institute and has orbited experimental performance spaces ever since. Logan is the Co-Curator of Icebox Project Space and a member of Vox Populi Gallery. They are the creator of Orange Crate Magazine, a quarterly music publication, and have contributed as an arts journalist to publications such as Artblog, Teleporter, Sound Collector and The Philadelphia Citizen. Logan’s support of local art ecologies extends to tax preparation and bookkeeping; since 2018, they have been a part of Philly Tax Prep for Artists, a collective who provides accessible tax preparation and tax education to artists and independent contractors. As a bookkeeper, they focus their work on assisting art non-profits and creative enterprises.
